Job summary

Inception42 is seeking a Lead Engineer – AI Application QA to define and drive the QA strategy for AI-enabled financial applications and enterprise platforms. You will lead manual and automated testing, establish acceptance criteria, and embed continuous testing across the software lifecycle.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Product, Architecture, and AI teams to ensure reliable, secure, and compliant outcomes aligned with business requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or related field is required.
• 10+ years QA experience with at least 3 years in technical leadership.
• Hands-on testing of AI-enabled applications, including conversational interfaces and AI workflows.
• Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks for UI, API and end-to-end tests.
• Strong SQL skills and validation of data flows and reporting outputs.
• Familiarity with Agile, Git, CI/CD and cloud-based environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA strategy, test planning, and execution for AI-enabled apps.
• Mentor engineers, review tests, and standardize testing across teams.
• Define risk-based coverage and acceptance criteria for business workflows.
• Validate AI behavior against scenarios, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Test conversational flows, multi-turn interactions, and error handling.
• Ensure robust data ingestion, retrieval, and access control workflows.
• Coordinate automation across UI, API, and integration tests in CI/CD.
• Collaborate with Security/Compliance for controls and risk reduction.
