Job summary

Astra ProMed in Dubai is seeking a highly experienced Specialist/Consultant Obstetrician & Gynecologist to join our leading healthcare facility. You will deliver comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care, manage complex cases, and contribute to outstanding patient outcomes.

The role requires a medical degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics & Gynecology, a DHA license or eligibility, and post-specialization clinical experience at Consultant level.

Qualifications

Medical degree with recognized postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
DHA eligibility or license, or eligibility to obtain one.
Post-specialization clinical experience at Specialist or Consultant level.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and manage a wide range of obstetric and gynecological conditions.
Provide antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care.
Manage high-risk pregnancies and obstetric emergencies, where qualified.
Perform gynecological examinations, procedures, and surgeries within the scope of practice.
Provide comprehensive care for menstrual disorders, infertility, menopause, and other reproductive health concerns.
Conduct prenatal counselling and patient education.
Collaborate with maternal-fetal medicine specialists, neonatologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with clinical protocols.
Contribute to clinical education, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice.
