Job summary

ADNOC is seeking a senior lifting engineer to enforce compliance with HSE-PSW-CP19 standards across onshore and offshore sites. You will review lifting plans, certify equipment, and oversee crane teams to ensure safe, seaworthy lifts.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Engineering with 8 years in lifting equipment inspection/operations in oil and gas, plus strong English. UAE driving license and CAD familiarity are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 8 years' experience in lifting equipment certification and operations in oil and gas.
• 5 years in same or similar role in inspection and critical lifting operation planning.
• Knowledge of lifting tackles and accessories maintenance/testing/inspection.
• Valid UAE Light Vehicle Driving License.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure implementation of in-house lifting standards and procedures.
• Maintain register of lifting equipment and accessories.
• Perform pre-trip inspections on cargo units and lifting gear.
• Review lifting plans, risk assessments, and certify competence.
• Conduct site inspections and audits of lifting operations.
• Investigate lifting incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide technical oversight of lifting by EPC Contractors.
