Job summary

Dubai Municipality seeks a qualified Hydrographic Surveying professional to review data analysis for new control points, prepare periodic reports on accuracy and re-survey needs, and monitor exploratory survey activities per approved plans.

The role involves field observations of control and boundary points, gravity surveying, and conducting aerial surveys to study landforms and topography, with data-sharing obligations in line with laws and municipal policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• Majors include Hydrographic Surveying, Marine Sciences, Architecture, or Surveying Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate the analysis and processing of data related to newly established control points, and prepare periodic reports covering data accuracy, quality, points requiring re-surveying, and other relevant aspects in accordance with approved standards and specifications.
• Monitor and follow up on exploratory survey activities, area planning, field observations of newly established ground control points and boundary points, and conduct gravity surveying activities in line with assigned tasks and approved work plans.
• Carry out field aerial survey operations to identify and study landforms and the topographical characteristics of the required areas.
• Provide data-sharing services, information, and marine maps to customers and relevant entities in accordance with the laws, regulations, and approved municipal policies.
