ob Purpose
To lead and coordinate quality assurance and compliance activities across assigned functions or asset groups within the department, ensuring standards, procedures, and quality management system (QMS) requirements are consistently implemented across all projects and operations.
Key Accountabilities
Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of robust quality management systems.
- Ensure these systems comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Department Execution & Governance
- Monitor adherence to quality standards across all projects and business units.
- Conduct compliance assessments and internal audits.
- Track and report departmental KPIs, trends, and performance gaps.
- Lead departmental initiatives such as non-conformance reduction and document compliance.
Improvement & Root Cause Analysis
- Facilitate root cause analysis for systemic issues.
- Recommend corrective and preventive actions across the organization.
- Support lessons learned programs and standardization efforts.
Risk Management
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to address potential quality issues.
- Implement preventive measures to minimize risks and ensure product reliability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering, production, procurement, and customer service to integrate quality improvement initiatives across the organization.
Skills
Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Competencies
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, ASQ Certified Quality Engineer) are preferred.
Minimum Experience
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in quality assurance and control within projects.
