Job summary

Revolutional is seeking a Lead Data Scientist to define and drive enterprise AI/ML strategy across a federal modernization program. You will lead analytics across complex systems, ensure production-ready, scalable, and explainable AI/ML capabilities, and collaborate with data engineers, architects, and operational teams to achieve mission impact.

You will guide technical direction, develop advanced models, and mentor teams while integrating analytics into enterprise workflows and governance

Qualifications

• PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
• 15+ years of experience in data science, AI/ML, advanced analytics, or enterprise modernization initiatives
• U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across enterprise data science and AI/ML initiatives within a large-scale modernization program
• Design, develop, validate, deploy, monitor, and scale machine learning and analytics solutions in production
• Lead implementation of MLOps practices supporting model lifecycle management and CI/CD
• Apply NLP, LLMs, deep learning, and time series analytics to enterprise problems
• Design and support real-time/streaming ML pipelines
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and ops teams to integrate AI/ML
• Support SoS integrations across multiple systems and vendors
• Establish AI governance frameworks addressing fairness, explainability, and compliance
• Develop reproducible analytics workflows, docs, dashboards, and reports
• Mentor data scientists and promote best practices across the org
