Job summary

SearchPlus HR invites applications for Consultant/Specialist Colorectal Surgeon in Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will deliver surgical and medical care for colorectal conditions, with emphasis on advanced laparoscopic and open procedures.

You will lead patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. A MD with active license, General Surgery residency, and Colon/Rectal fellowship are required.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent with active license.
• Residency in General Surgery completed.
• Fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery completed.
• Extensive experience in colorectal diagnosis and treatment.
• Proficiency in advanced laparoscopic and open procedures.
• Strong analytical, clinical, and patient-centered skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of GI patients, focusing on colon and rectum.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (colonoscopy, imaging, biopsies).
• Develop and implement treatment plans with surgical and non-surgical options.
• Perform advanced surgical procedures, including minimally invasive approaches.
• Manage patient care pre- and post-operatively.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and care.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Stay current with colorectal surgery advancements.
• Uphold medical ethics and patient confidentiality.
