The key objectives for this role are:

• Contributes to engineering excellence by providing the link between engineering design theory and practical application, translating critical design concepts into workable plans for tangible end‑products
• Prepares engineering drawings in their discipline area from rough sketches or from general engineering and design information according to established standards and procedures
• Creates designs and sketches out detailed plans for projects such as commercial, industrial, and civil sector structures and plant and/or manufactured products and systems
• Plans and carries out technical assignments of substantial variety and complexity, capable of handling assignments which involve a variety of procedures and techniques
• Ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering complex offshore projects and working within a multidisciplinary team
• Cooperates with other disciplines to ensure the timely realization of competitive, achievable and serviceable solutions, including their Production Information Documentation
• Applies standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria to make adaptations and modifications in order to solve technical problems that arise
• Contributes to and participates in formal and informal design reviews and the development of engineering changes
• Executes the design process in order to realize the project, product and program plans
• Creates designs that meet the specifications within the constraints given in the project plan
• Generates adequate Product Information/ Technical Product Documentation to qualify, integrate, produce and test product
• Collects and analyzes information in order to report timely required information to different users and management. Provides regular status reporting to applicable management and departments in order to enable them to take required actions
