Job summary

Fixperts Contracting LLC is seeking a skilled laptop technician to diagnose hardware and software issues, perform rapid troubleshooting, and minimize downtime.

You will repair laptops including motherboards, screens, and keyboards while following manufacturer specifications, and install OS and applications to optimize performance. Candidates should have an Associate's degree in CS or Electronics, relevant certifications, and 2+ years in laptop repair, preferably in IT support or service centers.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or Apple Certified Macintosh Technician are highly valued.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in laptop repair and maintenance.
• Experience in a fast-paced IT support or service center environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose hardware and software issues on laptops with advanced troubleshooting to ensure rapid resolution and minimal downtime.
• Perform intricate repairs on laptop components (motherboards, screens, keyboards) per manufacturer specifications.
• Install, configure, and update operating systems and software to optimise performance for end users.
• Conduct preventative maintenance, including cleaning and component checks, to extend laptop lifespan.
