Qualifications

• University degree in geology or civil engineering required.
• At least 3 years of field experience in land surveying.
• Excellent knowledge of surveying instruments and techniques.
• Experience with satellite navigation systems and GIS mapping software.

Responsibilities

• Carry out surveys of land and measure distances between points.
• Prepare maps, charts and other diagrams; analyze data collected on site.
• Prepare reports based on findings and make land-use or development recommendations.
