Kitchen Equipment Technician

The Function

The Kitchen area Professional is responsible for all kitchen equipment upkeep as instructed by the Center Supervisor, adhering to Alpha policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Ensuring all kitchen tools, chillers, and freezers are properly maintained and serviced to prevent breakdowns.
  2. Performing preventive maintenance and completing turnover efficiently to meet end-user demands.
  3. Responding to equipment malfunctions and emergencies.
  4. Operating in a safe and environmentally friendly manner to protect health and safety.
  5. Complying with Alpha Sharjah's environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.
  6. Updating trackers and maintenance applications promptly.
Requirements

Suitable candidates should be ITI certified with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a catering company or kitchen equipment supplier. Additional requirements include:

  1. Excellent communication skills.
  2. Experience in operating maintenance applications is an advantage.
  3. Committed to providing high levels of customer service.
  4. Flexible to respond to various work situations.
