Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in resorts or similar field.
• Preferably certified high/low pressure boiler driver with prior experience.
• Experience with steam/gas ovens, dishwashers, deep fryers and stoves.
• Strong command of English.
• Ability to fault locate and rectify subsystems.
• Hands-on, proactive, adaptable to changing events.
• Reliable and calm under stress.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure proper maintenance to prevent breakdowns.
• Perform preventive maintenance and turnover efficiently to meet guest demands.
• Respond to malfunctions and be available in emergencies according to hotel policy and standards.
• Operate in a safe and eco-friendly manner to protect health and the environment.
• Follow resort environmental, health and safety policies and procedures.
