Job summary

Careers International in Dubai is seeking a Kitchen Designer to meet clients, capture requirements, and create accurate blueprints that meet specifications.

The ideal candidate has CAD proficiency and experience reading blueprints, with strong attention to detail, communication, and project leadership. You will remodel existing kitchens, manage budgets, and stay current with design trends while maintaining client relationships.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Interior Design or equivalent.
• Portfolio of complete kitchen design works.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong project management and leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of building regulations and codes.

Responsibilities

• Attend meetings with clients and note their design needs.
• Illustrate the effect of kitchen space requirements.
• Provide innovative ideas and concepts to meet client’s needs.
• Develop design blueprints as per specifications.
• Remodel old items in the kitchen design.
• Prepare and maintain design budgets.
• Maintain a healthy relationship with the contracts.
• Inform clients about materials to be used in the kitchen.
• Recommend placement of plumbing fixtures and electrical works.
• Adhere to all design regulations.
• Maintain records of activities and tasks.
• Inform clients about design changes.
• Stay updated on latest kitchen design trends.
