Job summary

International Community Schools (ICS) Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Early Years teacher to deliver EYFS-aligned lessons in a stimulating, safe classroom that fosters curiosity and a love for learning. You will assess progress, provide regular feedback to parents, and collaborate on curriculum enhancements.

Applicants should hold a PGCE or UK QTS, a Bachelor's in Early Childhood or related field, and 2–3 years of Kindergarten/EY experience with EYFS proficiency; international school

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, or a related field.
• PGCE in Early Years/Primary or valid UK QTS.
• Minimum 2–3 years of full-time teaching in Kindergarten or EY.
• Experience teaching children aged 3–5 within EYFS.
• Valid teaching license or certification from country of origin.
• Ability to complete ADEK licensing.

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
• Create a positive, safe, and child-centered classroom environment that promotes curiosity and a love for learning
• Assess, monitor, and record student progress effectively, providing regular feedback to parents and guardians
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum enhancements and school-wide initiatives
• Actively participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the school's continuous improvement

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, or a relevant field
• PGCE in Early Years/Primary or valid UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Minimum of 2-3 years of full-time teaching experience in a Kindergarten or Early Years setting
• Demonstrable experience teaching children aged 3-5 years within the EYFS framework
• Valid teaching license or certification from country of origin
• Ability to complete the ADEK teacher licensing process

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in an international school environment
