Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher with the assigned work, and ensure it is carried out by his/her students.
• Assist for the development, progress, attainment and behavior of the students;
• Working with small groups of students to enhance the learning process
• Participate and assist in appraisal of students’ performance;
• Assist and monitor student discipline and safeguard their health and safety at all times;
• Assist to register attendance of students and report absence immediately to the Supervisor.
• Assist in educational and social development of pupils under the direction and guidance of the head teacher, and class teachers.
• Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities.
• Assist class teachers with maintaining student records.
