Key Account Manager (KSA)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to oversee sales performance and market development within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for a leading global automotive brand. This position plays a pivotal role in driving sales targets, enhancing importer relationships, and ensuring adherence to corporate retail and quality standards. The role is based in Dubai, with regular travel to KSA (approximately one week per month).

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, propose, and monitor annual sales targets across production, wholesale, and retail channels, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and performance standards.
  • Partner closely with regional management and importers to optimize market coverage, performance, and profitability.
  • Lead business planning initiatives contributing to both strategic planning and target execution across multiple sales channels including corporate, fleet, and shuttle segments.
  • Review and analyze monthly sales performance, ensuring both quantitative and qualitative KPIs (NPS, CSI, MYS) are consistently achieved.
  • Oversee and evaluate sales funnel management, demand planning, and order bank alignment to maintain balanced inventory and forecasting accuracy.
  • Monitor marketing activities and sales initiatives within each region, ensuring effective execution and corrective action where required.
  • Conduct regular audits of stock levels, documentation, and operational compliance in line with corporate retail standards.
  • Track competitor pricing, product positioning, and market trends, proposing strategic adjustments to pricing, product mix, and promotional activity.
  • Ensure timely submission and accuracy of all importer forecasts, reports, and retail performance estimates.
  • Identify untapped market opportunities across KSA and collaborate with dealer development teams on new facility and capacity planning.
  • Support importer staff training and competency development to strengthen overall sales performance and brand representation.
  • Promote and drive focus segments such as performance models, luxury class vehicles, electrified models (xEVs), fleet, and certified used cars.
  • Represent the brand at major regional events, launches, and strategic meetings to strengthen market presence.
  • Prepare detailed weekly and monthly performance reports based on regional KPIs and findings from market visits.
Candidate Profile
  • Experience: Minimum 8–10 years in automotive sales, including at least 3–4 years managing the KSA market.
  • Background: Proven track record working with OEMs, regional offices, or importer networks at a wholesale or business steering level.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, relationship management, and strategic planning skills; capable of balancing data-driven decision-making with commercial acumen.
  • Languages: Fluent in English and Arabic (mandatory).
  • Other Requirements: UAE driving license required; frequent travel to Saudi Arabia.
  • Seniority: Mid‑Senior Level | Individual Contributor reporting to Senior Regional Manager.
