The engineer will work closely with the Senior Systems Engineer and multidisciplinary engineering teams to capture requirements, maintain architecture and interface information, establish traceability, support configuration management, and organize V&V evidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture and maintain stakeholder, system, subsystem, and interface requirements in the selected requirements-management tool.
- Maintain requirement attributes, parent-child relationships, allocation, rationale, verification methods, and status.
- Support development and maintenance of functional, logical, and physical architecture models.
- Create and maintain system context diagrams, interface registers, ICDs, and system block diagrams.
- Maintain the Requirements Verification Traceability Matrix.
- Link requirements to test cases, test procedures, results, and verification evidence.
- Support component, subsystem, SIL/HIL, ground, and flight-test activities.
- Collect and organize test logs, results, reports, anomalies, and verification evidence.
- Maintain system configuration records including hardware revisions, software versions, parameter baselines, and aircraft configurations.
- Maintain engineering change requests and support change-impact analysis.
- Support requirements and architecture baseline preparation.
- Maintain technical risks, actions, assumptions, and engineering decision records.
- Prepare engineering information for SRR/PDR/CDR/TRR/FRR.
- Support migration of existing UAV engineering information into the new SE framework.
- Assist with SE metrics and dashboards such as requirements maturity, traceability completeness, verification status, open changes, and risks.
Required Experience:
- 2–4 years of engineering experience in UAV, aerospace, avionics, embedded systems, robotics, automotive, defense, or multidisciplinary electromechanical systems.
