An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Sous Chef - Pastry to join Jumeirah Zabeel Saray.
Support the pastry chef in preparing ingredients, assembling components, and baking pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to recipes and standards.
Participate in decorating, glazing, frosting, and garnishing pastries to enhance visual appeal and presentation.
Assist in monitoring ingredient levels, stock rotation, and replenishment to ensure availability for production.
Conduct taste tests, visual inspections, and texture evaluations to maintain quality and consistency of pastry products.
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and utensils, following food safety and hygiene standards.
Collaborate on menu development, document recipes, interact with customers, and participate in training
