Job summary

Sofitel Dubai The Palm is seeking a reliable Revenue Accountant to audit and reconcile daily hotel revenues, verify postings, and assist with month-end closings. The role supports the finance team in ensuring accuracy across cash, credit card and other transactions.

The ideal candidate holds an accounting or finance diploma, is proficient in Microsoft Excel, and demonstrates strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Audit and verify daily revenue reports from all hotel outlets
• Reconcile cash, credit card and other payment transactions
• Review night audit reports and ensure postings are accurate
• Check rate variances, discounts, voids and rebates for authorization
• Investigate and report discrepancies or irregularities
• Prepare daily revenue summary reports for management
• Assist in month-end closing procedures related to revenue
• Maintain filing and documentation for audit purposes
