Job summary

Junior Planning Engineer role in Abu Dhabi, UAE, is responsible for preparing, updating, and monitoring project schedules, tracking progress, and flagging delays. You will coordinate with site teams, procurement, engineering, and management to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or related).
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Planning Engineer.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, update, and monitor project schedules.
• Track project progress and identify delays and risks.
• Coordinate with site teams, procurement, engineering, and project management to ensure timely execution.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, look-ahead schedules, and planning presentations.
• Analyze project performance and recommend recovery plans where required.
