The Lana - Dorchester Collection in Dubai is seeking a dedicated Commis Chef to join a skilled team that values passion and excellence. You’ll learn through our award-winning academy and help uphold the highest standards of craft, service and leadership while delighting guests.

You’ll be responsible for maintaining food quality, proper rotation and timely service, as well as preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to the highest standards of food safety.

Qualifications

• You’ll be up to date with the latest Pastry and Bakery trends, be creative and skilled in the art of cookery.
• You will thrive in a high-pressure environment whilst maintaining a high level of quality.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining food quality control, appropriate and timely food rotation, timely service, and quality of food of the highest standard to ensure guests receive the best experience.
• Prepare, cook, and present food adhering to food safety standards, learning new and exciting skills along the way.
• Coordinate with the Chief Baker/Executive Pastry Chef on daily preparation, shortages and the development of seasonal food and beverage activities.
• As a Commis Chef, bring our values to life and contribute to the hotel’s legacy.
