Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles (thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, solid mechanics).
• Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and simulation tools (ANSYS, COMSOL).
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.

Responsibilities

• Support the achievement of departmental productivity and operational efficiency targets.
• Assist in optimising resource utilisation and minimising equipment downtime.
• Assist Senior Engineers and Supervisors with inspection, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems.
• Participate in preventive and corrective maintenance activities in accordance with approved procedures.
• Support troubleshooting activities and assist in identifying the root causes of equipment failures.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, manuals, and schematics.
