Job summary

Egis is seeking a junior Master Planner with 2-5 years of professional experience to support master planning and urban design projects in the UAE, under a lead urban design planner. You will develop layouts, diagrams and visuals, collaborating with landscape, architecture, and infrastructure teams to deliver integrated plans.

The role emphasizes creativity, technical detail and timely delivery, with opportunities to engage in client submissions and government approvals in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Urban Planning, Urban Design, Architecture or closely related field.
• Experience in producing conceptual master plan designs and illustrative layouts.
• Ability to communicate progress and master plan updates to clients with guidance from team leadership.
• Creative thinking and basic understanding of current best practices in master planning.
• Proactive and productive attitude with ability to support team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing master planning layouts, diagrams, illustrations and sketches using Adobe Creative Suite.
• Support master planning and urban design tasks, research and analysis.
• Collaborate with landscape, architecture and infrastructure teams under lead guidance to deliver coordinated projects.
• Provide master planning input and judgement under supervision of a lead urban design/planning lead.
• Develop planning details and numerical master plan calculations to support high-quality outputs.
• Produce master plan drawings, reports and presentations using Revit, AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Communicate task progress to the lead and meet project deadlines.
• Support preparation of submission requirements for UAE planning approvals in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
