Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred (candidates currently pursuing their degree will also be considered).
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with library software systems.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cataloging and classifying materials according to established systems.
• Shelf and organize books, periodicals, and other materials in a timely manner.
• Respond to patron inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist with collection development by recommending new materials for acquisition.
• Participate in planning and organizing library events and programs.
• Maintain library equipment and ensure it is in good working condition.
• Keep accurate records of library usage and statistics.
