Job summary

Workato in Sharjah is seeking an Entry-Level Instrument Technician to join our production team. You will install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair instruments such as gauges, sensors, meters, and valves, while performing routine maintenance and keeping records.

A basic understanding of electrical and mechanical principles is sufficient. The position welcomes applicants of all nationalities and does not require prior experience or English proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
• Basic understanding of electrical circuits and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
• Good communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency a plus).
• Physically fit for manual labor and standing for long periods.
• Familiarity with instrumentation standards (ISA symbols) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair instruments such as pressure gauges, sensors, meters, and valves.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure proper instrument function.
• Use hand tools and testing equipment to diagnose and adjust instruments.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Collaborate with technicians and engineers to solve problems.
• Follow safety regulations when working with live electrical equipment.
• Continuously learn about new instrumentation technologies.
