Job summary

A leading elevator service company is seeking an experienced professional to manage elevator service operations. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, inspecting, and ensuring the compliance of elevator systems while maintaining excellent customer relationships. Candidates require a diploma in business or engineering and at least 7 years of experience in the field. The role demands strong technical skills and the ability to work well in a team environment in Abu Dhabi.

Strategic Responsibilities
  • Provides management information and insights on all dimensions of work area performance to facilitate discussion and decision making both on a periodic basis and for adhoc management requests.
  • Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
Core Responsibilities
  • The candidate should be highly skilled in troubleshooting and technical knowledge of OTIS & NonOtis products.
  • Minimum of 7 years in the elevator Service Operation Field is required.
  • They should have a good knowledge of technical aspects.
  • They should be skilled in customer management and capable of handling high‑profile key account customers.
  • The candidate must possess good communication skills and know MS operating systems.
  • They should also be proficient in maintaining customer relationships and be able to work well in a team environment.
  • Inspects carry out root cause analysis and performs corrective actions for critical/rebel units or units with high or repeated call backs.
  • Identifies malfunctions in brakes, motors, switches, signal and control systems using test equipment.
  • Adjusts safety controls, counterweights, door mechanisms and components such as valves, ratchets, seals and brake linings.
  • Inspects wiring connections, control panel hookups, door installations and alignments and clearances of cars and hoistways to ensure equipment health.
  • Disassembles defective units and repairs or replace parts such as locks, gears, cables and electric wiring.
  • Inspects, tests and measures completed work by direct staff to verify conformance to standards or repair requirements.
  • Maintains log books that detail all repairs and checks performed.
  • Checks that safety regulations and building codes are met and completes service reports verifying conformance to safety standards.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Diploma degree in business/engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in mechanical and high skilled works in a construction/engineering organization
