Job summary

SOBHA MODULAR INDUSTRIES LLC OPC in Ras Al Khaimah seeks a façade design drafter to prepare shop and fabrication drawings for projects. You will work with architecture, civil/ mechanical engineers and production teams to ensure accuracy and timely release.

To support the design team in preparing facade shop drawings fabrication drawings and related technical documentation for facade projects. The role requires coordination with engineering production and project teams to ensure drawings are accurate, compliant and issued within project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed facade shop drawings and fabrication drawings as per project specifications and approved designs
• Develop and modify 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and other relevant design software
• Review architectural, structural and consultant drawings for design coordination
• Assist in preparing material take-offs and production-related drawing packages
• Coordinate with production, procurement and site teams to resolve design-related issues
• Ensure all drawings comply with project standards, client requirements and fabrication feasibility
• Maintain proper drawing revisions and documentation records
• Support senior designers and engineers in design development and project execution
• Participate in internal design reviews and incorporate technical feedback

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in façade design, preferably in aluminium, glass, and cladding systems.

Experience in preparing façade shop drawings and fabrication drawings is mandatory.

Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit, Inventor, SolidWorks, or similar software will be an advantage.

Good understanding of façade systems, construction drawings, and manufacturing processes.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work under project deadlines.
