Job summary

PPOAR is hiring a Junior Computer Engineer in Abu Dhabi to support design, development and maintenance of computer systems and software under supervision.

You will work with senior engineers, apply knowledge of C++, Java or Python, and help troubleshoot issues, test hardware and software, and document changes for ongoing projects. Bachelor's degree required with 1–2 years' experience; fresh graduates welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar role (fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply).
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as C++, Java, or Python.
• Familiarity with operating systems, databases, and network protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the development and implementation of computer software systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with computer systems and software
• Collaborate with senior engineers to design new computer systems or make improvements to existing ones
• Conduct research to stay updated on the latest technology trends and advancements
• Test and evaluate new hardware and software for compatibility and functionality
• Document all processes, procedures, and modifications made to computer systems or software
