Job summary

Flyper, a growing accounting firm based in Dubai, seeks a Junior Accountant to support financial statement prep, AR/AP, and bank reconciliations. The role involves accurate record-keeping and assisting with tax returns and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements
• Maintain accurate records of accounts receivable and payable
• Reconcile bank statements on a regular basis
• Prepare tax returns and assist with audits
• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for improvement
• Communicate with clients and other team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks
