Job summary

Fisher in Abu Dhabi seeks a skilled Mechanical Technician to perform maintenance, installation, and repair of mechanical equipment on ADNOC projects. You will follow PTW and LOTO procedures and ensure HSE compliance.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ITI in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent certification.
• 3–5 years in Oil & Gas plant operations or EPC projects.
• Knowledge of mechanical maintenance, piping layout, and site execution.
• Good understanding of ADNOC WMS, PTW, and safety standards.
• Ability to work in a team and handle high-pressure environments.

Responsibilities

• Execute mechanical activities as per approved Work Permit and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
• Ensure full compliance with ADNOC HSE standards and site regulations.
• Perform maintenance, installation, and repair of mechanical equipment (vessels, piping, valves, and rotating machinery).
• Follow PTW (Permit to Work) and Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) procedures strictly.
• Coordinate with Supervisors and Engineers for daily task planning and execution.
• Ensure proper use of tools, specialized equipment, and correct PPE at all times.
• Identify potential hazards, conduct Toolbox Talks (TBT), and report unsafe conditions immediately.
• Maintain proper documentation, isolation logs, and permit close-outs as required by site procedures.

Requirements

• Must be ADNOC Approved as a Job Performer (Mandatory).
• Diploma / ITI in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical certification.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Oil & Gas plant operations or EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance, piping layout, and site execution.
• Good understanding of the ADNOC Work Management System (WMS), PTW system, and safety standards.
