Job summary

Givaudan invites applications for an Inventory Coordinator role at the Dubai Regional Creative Centre. Based in Dubai Media City, you will support flavour creation and application labs, ensuring efficient inventory operations and strong coordination with creation and application teams.

You will manage stock levels, handle SAP- and LCMS-based processes, and maintain data integrity through routine counts and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• 3 years of hands-on inventory management and coordination experience.
• Expert working knowledge of SAP ERP for inventory management is mandatory.
• Knowledge of raw material supplies ordering and inventory control.
• Basic lab documentation and handling of lab equipment and chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory and consumption trends; maintain lab inventory levels.
• Process purchase orders for lab equipment and consumables via SAP and LCMS weekly.
• Track expired materials and replace them in coordination with Lab teams.
• Receive, unpack and restock raw materials and consumables for all workstations.
• Ensure proper allocation handling and storage of raw materials.
• Record inventory purchases, perform physical counts, and reconcile stock.
• Process invoices for payment in SAP and document returns.
• Flag discrepancies and support regular reporting to Lab Team Leader.
• Perform routine data entry and assist stakeholders as needed.

Inventory Coordinator - Flavour Creation and Application Lab

An Inventory Coordinator for our flavour creation and application lab in Dubai providing essential support for both creation and application teams supporting our customers in the Middle Eastern markets - Your future position

We are now looking to recruit an Inventory Coordinator to support the efficient operations of our expanding flavour creation and application lab in our Regional Creative Centre in Dubai. You will be based in our Dubai Media City office and report to the local technical manager.

In this exciting role you will be responsible for -

Inventory monitoring and management:

• Proactively monitor inventory and consumption trends and maintain the inventory levels for the Dubai flavour creation and application lab.
• Process purchase orders of lab equipment and consumables through the internal SAP and Laboratory Compounding Management System (LCMS) weekly.
• Proactively monitor and keep track of expired raw materials and replace them periodically in coordination with other Lab team members.
• Receive unpack and restock the raw materials and consumables for all workstations in the Lab.
• Ensure proper allocation handling and storage of raw materials.

Data entry and reporting:

• Record inventory purchases perform a regular physical inventory count and reconcile actual stock counts to ensure database integrity and computer-generated reporting.
• Processes purchase invoices for payment in SAP.
• Process and document inventory and sample returns following established procedures.
• Ensure regular reporting and flag inventory discrepancies to the Lab Team Leader for further assessment and action.
• Perform routine administration duties including data entry and assisting stakeholders when needed.

Your professional profile includes -

• Currently already based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
• A Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline.
• 3 years of relevant hands-on work experience in inventory management and coordination.
• Expert working knowledge of SAP ERP for inventory management is mandatory.
• Have a good knowledge of raw material supplies ordering and inventory control.
• A basic understanding of the lab documentation protocol and handling of lab equipment and chemicals.
• Comfortable with routine administrative tasks and working in a laboratory environment.
• Has no known allergies to chemicals or flavour raw materials.
• A good team player and comfortable with diversity.
