Job summary

A prominent consultancy firm is seeking an Arabic speaking IT Help Desk Support Officer for their Abu Dhabi operation. Candidates should have at least two years of experience and a valid UAE driving license. The role includes installing and maintaining systems, troubleshooting issues, and providing user support. Qualifications

Overview

AED 8000 salary. A well known company is looking to hire an Arabic speaking IT Help Desk Support Officer for their Abu Dhabi Operation. Candidate should have a minimum of two year experience with a valid UAE driving license.

Responsibilities
  • Works closely and receives direct instructions from the IT Manager.
  • Installs, configures, monitors and maintains computer systems, software applications, operating systems and network devices.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs software, computer systems and network problems.
  • Manages user access to the network.
  • Provides direct technical support to users including procedural documentation.
  • Tests and evaluates new technology and demonstrates it to supervisors.
  • Use of the helpdesk ticketing system to keep track of assigned tasks, asset management, and HW/SW licenses.
  • Participates in team meetings, sharing knowledge, information and ideas with team members.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
  • IT Standard Industry Certification is an advantage.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the same position.
  • Valid driver’s license for travel to client sites.
Required Skills
  • Technical ability to support primarily Windows based server and workstation platforms.
  • Previous customer service related experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent technical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and independently.
  • Willingness to work the required hours to complete the responsibilities assigned.
Organizational Relationships

Directly reports to IT Manager.
