Role Overview

As a Platinion IT Consultant – Cybersecurity, you will play a key role in shaping the digital transformation of globally leading organizations by designing and implementing robust cybersecurity strategies. You will work closely with client stakeholders to assess security postures, define strategic ambitions, and deliver integrated security solutions across IT and OT environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Shape digital transformation initiatives for global clients by balancing enterprise-wide technical solutions with individual business requirements.
• Enable clients to design and implement effective cybersecurity programs aligned with organizational goals and risk profiles.
• Assess client cybersecurity maturity and posture, identifying gaps and defining mitigation strategies.
• Define strategic cybersecurity roadmaps, including technical and non-technical initiatives.
• Develop innovative security solutions leveraging emerging technologies to counter evolving cyber threats.
• Communicate complex cybersecurity concepts clearly to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Stay up to date with cybersecurity trends, threats, regulations, and technologies to inform strategic decision-making.
• Design and implement risk management frameworks tailored to organizational and regulatory needs.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies aligned with business priorities.
• Establish risk monitoring and reporting mechanisms to effectively prioritize mitigation efforts.
• Develop and implement security controls for Operational Technology (OT) environments.
• Conduct OT security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and risks.
• Design integrated security strategies for converged IT/OT ecosystems.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, (Business) Informatics, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in IT Consulting, with a strong focus on cybersecurity.
• Proven experience in building and scaling cybersecurity programs for large and complex organizations.
• Strong strategic technology and management expertise, including:
  • Technical analysis and evaluation of IT architectures
  • Digitization of business processes
  • Evaluation of technical solutions and feasibility
  • Handling organizational and procedural aspects of IT management
  • Development of business cases
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity best practices, frameworks, and standards.
