Job summary

XAD Technologies is seeking experienced ISP/OSP Cable Splicing Technicians for telecom and fiber optic projects in Abu Dhabi. You will perform splicing, termination, and testing of fiber networks, and support field deployments and maintenance across Inside Plant and Outside Plant environments.

The role requires hands-on experience with fusion splicing, OTDRs, and testing equipment, with UAE experience preferred and immediate joiners highly welcome.

Qualifications

• Experience in fiber optic cable splicing and telecom projects.
• Knowledge of fusion splicing machines and OTDR.
• Experience in ISP/OSP network installation and maintenance.
• UAE experience preferred.
• Immediate joiners are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform fiber optic cable splicing jointing and termination activities.
• Install test and maintain ISP (Inside Plant) and OSP (Outside Plant) fiber networks.
• Conduct OTDR power meter and end-to-end testing of fiber optic cables.
• Identify and troubleshoot fiber faults cable breaks and signal losses.
• Perform fiber cable routing cable blowing and cable pulling activities.
• Read and interpret network drawings route maps and splice diagrams.
• Prepare splice reports test reports and as-built documentation.
• Ensure all work is completed according to client quality and HSE standards.
• Support network maintenance upgrades and new fiber deployment projects.
