Job summary

Fitch Ratings in Dubai is recruiting an early-career professional for its Global Islamic Finance Group through a two-year development program designed to immerse associates in Islamic finance and credit analysis.

The role supports senior analysts on sukuk projects, data collection, and regulatory tracking, with a hybrid in-office schedule (3 days/week) and potential CFA certification support.

Qualifications

• Emirati national with valid Family Book (required).
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; minimum 2.8 GPA.
• Fluent English speaker.
• Strong analytical capabilities with genuine interest in credit analysis and Islamic finance.
• Knowledge of financial instruments and financial data modeling.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and collaborative approach.
• Ability to work hybrid schedule (3 days/week in-office) with July 2026 start.

Responsibilities

• Support senior analysts on Islamic finance initiatives and sukuk (Islamic bond) projects.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing sukuk templates and transaction documentation.
• Conduct data collection and preliminary analysis for rating coverage.
• Review legal documentation and analyze structured finance transaction structures.
• Participate in cross-sector Islamic finance projects and global research initiatives.
• Attend meetings with issuers, investment bankers, and legal counsel.
• Maintain and update Islamic finance databases and monitoring systems.
• Track regulatory developments affecting Islamic finance markets.
• Contribute to industry research reports and publications.
