Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi is seeking nursing professionals with at least two years of recent Interventional Radiology experience to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role focuses on delivering evidence-based patient care across all ages, with emphasis on safety, education, and collaborative practice.

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (or equivalent), a current national license, BLS/ACLS, and experience with EMR systems. Arabic language skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent is required.
• Minimum three (3) year curriculum in Nursing from an accredited program is required.
• Associate Degree Nurses from North America with evidence of passing the National exam is required.
• Minimum of two (2) years post-graduate experience in an Interventional Radiology setting is required.
• Valid and current national license is required.
• BLS from AHA or equivalent, or must obtain within 3 months.
• ACLS relevant to area of specialty from AHA or equivalent, or must obtain within 6 months.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Fluency in English; Arabic language preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes timely patient admission and ongoing assessments, plans and updates plan of care.
• Provides direct care and evaluates outcomes, incorporating family centered care.
• Monitors and documents patient condition and effectiveness of care.
• Assesses educational needs of patients and families with cultural considerations.
• Provides teaching and educational material to patient and/or significant others.
• Validates and documents patient/family understanding of teaching.
• Administers prescribed medications with barcode scanning.
• Carries out prescribed treatments per policies and protocols.
• Collaborates with other professions to address health care needs.
• Participates in evidence-based practice and reports changes.
• Delegates components of care as appropriate to nursing team.
• Maintains confidentiality and promotes patient safety.
• Reports errors and participates in outcome evaluation.
• Completes charge capture education and in-service training; uses Epic in real time.
