Job summary

ARMADA PHARMACY DMCC in Dubai seeks a DHA-licensed physician to join our medical team. You will consult with patients, diagnose acute and chronic illnesses, prescribe therapies, explain results, and monitor progress to adjust treatment as needed.

Requirements include a specialization degree with a 5-year residency and valid DHA licensure; 3–5 years of experience is preferred. You will ensure compliance with laws, maintain detailed records, and coordinate referrals when necessary.

Qualifications

• Proven success with relevant procedures and treatments.
• Compliance with laws and hospital policies.
• 3–5 years of experience in the specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients to understand symptoms and health concerns.
• Diagnose acute illnesses and manage chronic diseases.
• Prescribe or administer medications and therapies as appropriate.
• Explain procedures and discuss test results with patients.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
• Provide health guidance on diet, activity, hygiene and prevention.
• Immunize patients against preventable diseases.
• Maintain detailed medical notes and records.
• Refer patients to specialists when required.
• Support long-term care and coordinate with the care team.

Job description

• Consulting with patients to understand their symptoms and health concerns
• Diagnosing and treating acute illnesses such as bacterial and viral infections as well as chronic diseases and conditions such as hypertension heart disease or diabetes
• Prescribing or administering medication therapy and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness disease or injury
• Explaining procedures and discussing test results or prescribed treatments with patients
• Monitoring patients conditions and progress and re-evaluating treatments as necessary
• Providing health and wellness advice to patients including diet physical activity hygiene and disease prevention
• Immunizing patients against preventable diseases
• Maintaining detailed notes of appointments with patients including comments tests and or treatments prescribed and test results
• Referring patients to other medical specialists when necessary
• Providing support and advice to patients receiving long-term care
• Preparing official health documents or records when necessary

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Specialization degree and successful 5-year of residency
• Valid DHA licensure to practice
• Proven success with relevant procedures and treatments
• Compliance with all laws and hospital policies
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the specialty is preferred
