Job description

Our client is a local giant that is a leading shopping mall, retail and leisure pioneer across the Middle East and North Africa, with operations in 12 countries and over 24,000 employees. Business is booming, as usual and so they currently looking appoint an experienced Internal Auditor to enhance and expand the skill set of the growing team. The successful candidate must be an Accounts Graduate and CPA / CA / ACCA qualified or equivalent.

In order to be considered for this role, candidates must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

• Big 4 experience is preferred.
• At least 10 years’ experience, preferably with previous hands‑on experience in auditing projects.
• Able to develop detailed audit programs and perform financial and operational reviews independently, with minimal supervision.
• Ability to travel, including overseas locations if required.
• Strong analytic and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Good communication skills in English (written & verbal), Arabic will be an added advantage.
• Strong personality, should value integrity and honesty.
• Should have worked in a position where he / she has been trusted with confidential information and show stability in a previous job (not too many changes).
• Mature and level‑headed; ideal age profile would be between 35‑45 years of age.
