Job summary

PRESTIGE PRECIOUS METALS seeks an experienced Internal Auditor in Dubai to strengthen controls across trading, finance and operations. The role focuses on internal controls, AML/CFT compliance, and risk management in a gold and precious metals environment.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, 3–7 years in internal audit or compliance, and professional certifications are an advantage. UAE regulations and DMCC rules knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of AML/CFT frameworks and UAE regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits across trading, finance, inventory, and compliance functions
• Review and monitor AML/KYC procedures, source of funds, and source of gold documentation
• Ensure compliance with UAE laws, DMCC regulations, and internal policies
• Identify financial, operational, and compliance risks and recommend corrective actions
• Prepare internal audit reports and present findings to management
• Support external audits, bank reviews, and regulatory inspections

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Internal Auditor to join our gold and precious metals trading company in Dubai. The role involves reviewing internal controls, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and AML/CFT requirements, and supporting risk management across trading, finance, and operational functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits across trading, finance, inventory, and compliance functions
• Review and monitor AML/KYC procedures, source of funds, and source of gold documentation
• Ensure compliance with UAE laws, DMCC regulations, and internal policies
• Identify financial, operational, and compliance risks and recommend corrective actions
• Prepare internal audit reports and present findings to management
• Support external audits, bank reviews, and regulatory inspections

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 3–7 years experience in internal audit, compliance, or risk
• Experience in gold trading, commodities, or financial services preferred
• Strong knowledge of AML/CFT frameworks and UAE regulatory requirements
• Professional certifications (CIA, ACCA, CPA, CAMS) are an advantage
• Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills
