General Overview :

Intelligent Solutions has partnered with a leading insurance company in the UAE to hire an experienced Internal Auditor. The role is responsible for executing and managing internal audit activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and strengthening internal control systems across all business functions.

The ideal candidate will bring a solid background in the insurance industry, hold a CIA qualification (mandatory), and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities :

• Plan, execute, and manage internal audits in line with the approved audit plan and company policies.
• Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.
• Identify control gaps, assess risks, and recommend practical corrective actions.
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports highlighting key findings, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Work closely with management to ensure timely implementation of audit recommendations.
• Conduct periodic reviews to assess compliance with regulatory and operational standards.
• Support special investigations, risk assessments, and ad-hoc reviews as required.
• Stay updated on CBUAE guidelines, insurance regulations, and internal audit best practices.

Key Requirements :

• CIA certification – mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years of internal audit experience within the insurance industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
