Job summary

Kerzner International is seeking a Health & Safety Intern for One&Only Royal Mirage in Dubai to assist the Health & Safety Manager with documentation, incident tracking and training coordination. The role emphasizes hospitality industry exposure and strong MS Office skills, with fluent English required.

The intern will help compile reports, support audits, and contribute to sustainability initiatives, while developing practical H&S experience in a luxury hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• One year of industrial experience in Health & Safety projects preferably in Hospitality.
• Excellent command of Microsoft Office programs, MS Excel, PowerPoint and data management.
• Must speak fluent English. Other languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in documentation tasks and record keeping as required by Health Safety and Sustainability policies and framework of the hotel.
• Record Health & Safety incidents, analyze incident data and update the incident dashboard in presentable formats.
• Identify Health & Safety training needs, developing monthly training calendar, track trainings and creation of internal training materials.
• Support coordination and communication of Health & Safety Department, such as scheduling meetings and recording minutes, creation of Health & Safety posters and QR codes.
• Conduct Health Safety and sustainability surveys in operations and assist in organizing awareness campaigns under H&S manager guidance.
• Assist in creating monthly Health Safety and sustainability inspection calendar, support internal audits and H&S performance reviews.
• Join investigations, evidence collection, and follow ups of corrective actions by various action owners.
• Systematically collect required sustainability performance data from relevant Departments and update digital document folders.
• Assist in Health Safety and Sustainability risk assessment and documentation.
• Support preparation for external audits compliance with audit standards.

Job Summary

Primary objective of this role is to assist in Health & Safety Department’s documentation and administration as guided by H&S Manager. Health & Safety Intern will be reporting directly to the Health & Safety Manager.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Supports the coordination and communication of Health & Safety Department as guided by Department head, such as scheduling meetings and recording meeting minutes, creation of customized Health & Safety posters, QR codes etc.
