Job summary

BDO UAE invites applications for a Finance/Business internship in Dubai. You will gain hands-on experience in e-invoicing, data validation, and reporting while supporting the finance and IT teams.

This role is ideal for a degree student progressing toward ACCA/CPA or similar, with strong analytical skills, Excel proficiency, and a proactive learning mindset. You will work under supervision, develop professional communication, and contribute to compliant invoicing processes in line with

• Coordinate with finance and IT teams to ensure accurate invoice generation and reporting.
• Perform basic reconciliations and help resolve discrepancies in invoicing data.

About the Role:

The general expectations out of the internship will include the below but not limited to:

• Develop basic understanding of e-invoicing rules and its application on the assigned work.
• Demonstrate understanding of MS office applications (specifically word and excel)
• Learn and develop effective communication skills

• Stay updated on e-invoicing regulations and assist in documentation and compliance tracking.

Key Attributes:

• A degree in Finance, Business, Law, or a related field
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Progress towards a relevant professional qualification, such as ACCA, ACA, CPA or an equivalent qualification, is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Previous internship, academic project or practical experience in tax, accounting or a related field is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft 365 applications; familiarity with formulas, lookups, pivot tables and data handling is an advantage.
