Job summary

A local design firm in Dubai is seeking an Interior Designer to mentor the design team and manage client engagements. The candidate should have a degree in Interior Design, strong conceptual skills, and proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop. Experience in hospitality design is an advantage, along with strong communication and presentation skills. This is a full-time, on-site position in Dubai.

Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, InDesign and Photoshop or other relevant design programs.
• Hospitality design experience would be an advantage.
• Good communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Mentoring the design team.
• Reviewing outgoing project presentations, drawings, and specifications.
• Liase with clients and attend meetings.
• Interpret and translate client requirements.
• Reporting to the Managing Director.

Interior Designer

Responsibilities

• 1.Mentoring the design team
• 2.Reviewing outgoing project presentations, drawings and specifications
• 3.Liase with clients and attend meetings
• 4.Interpret and translate client requirements
• 5.Reporting to the Managing Director
• 6.Working with the sales team to bring in new enquiries and creating fee proposals
• 7.Working closely with our technical team
• 8.Work closely with other consultants and contractors
• 9.Produce client presentations
• 10.Research and follow industry changes, evolutions and best practices

Requirements & Skills

• 1.Good conceptual skills and an eye for detail
• 2.Hospitality design experience would be an advantage
• 3.Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Indesign and Photoshop and or or other relevant design programs
• 4.Good communication and presentation skills
