Qualifications

• 5–10 years of professional experience in high-end residential villas, cafés, and commercial projects within the UAE.
• Arabic-speaking Emirati national (mandatory).
• UAE Driving License (required).
• Candidates must be currently based in the UAE.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients in Arabic, understanding their vision and goals.
• Analyze spatial requirements to create efficient design layouts.
• Develop creative and detailed design concepts.
• Select materials and finishes that enhance the overall concept.
• Prepare project cost estimates and manage schedules.
• Ensure designs meet UAE building codes and safety regulations.

Albal Design Studio is seeking a talented Emirati Interior Designer to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of local culture, design sensibilities and aesthetics, managing projects from concept to completion with creativity and precision. You will work closely with clients, developing functional and inspiring spaces that reflect both modern and traditional Emirati influences.

You will be responsible for client consultations, conceptual development, material selection, and supervision of design execution, ensuring every project aligns with our studio’s standards of excellence.

Core Responsibilities

1. Client Consultation: Engage with clients in Arabic, understanding their vision, goals, and lifestyle requirements while maintaining strong client relationships.
2. Space Planning: Analyze spatial requirements and circulation to create thoughtful and efficient design layouts.
3. Design Development: Develop creative and detailed design concepts, including sketches, layouts, and visual presentations, ensuring the design reflects cultural context and project goals.
4. Material Selection: Select materials, finishes, furniture, and lighting that enhance the overall concept, considering sustainability and cultural harmony.
5. Budget and Timeline Management: Prepare project cost estimates and manage schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
6. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure designs meet UAE building codes, safety regulations, and local authority requirements.
7. Project Oversight: Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and consultants; conduct site visits to ensure design intent is realized during execution.
