Integration Engineer

As a Lead Technical Consultant you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of application developed for our clients. Working in a team environment you will collaborate with solution architects and developers to interpret and translate wireframes and creative designs into functional requirements and subsequently into technical design.

Responsibilities
  1. Serve as a technical lead and mentor. Provide technical support or leadership in the development and continual improvement of service.
  2. Lead the technical planning & requirements gathering phases including estimate, develop, test, manage projects, architect and deliver.
  3. Customize Decision Center and Enterprise console to adapt the environment to the needs of business users by using extension APIs.
  4. Ensure assigned processes responsibility with high level of availability, performance and application security without any business impact or financial loss.
Technical Skills
  • Experience with Banking Microservices, OpenShift container platform, Spring Boot and echannels.
  • Experience with Banking SOA Delivery methodology, SOA Center of excellence and implementation of SOA best practices.
  • Strong Hands‑on Development Experience at the following Areas:
    • IBM Data Power Development & Administration
    • IBM API Connect Development & Administration
    • ODM Development & Administration
    • IBM ACE (IIB V11) & IIB V10.x Flow Development
    • ESQL Development Operational Support
Service Assurance
  1. Ensure adherence to IT governance processes and practices, organisational standards, procedures and SLAs.
  2. Facilitate communication within functional units and ensure relevant technology strategies, policies, standards and practices are applied correctly.
  3. Ensure proper and timely issue resolution, monitor contract performance and take adequate action to adhere and enhance the service level agreements.
  4. Perform risk assessments, monitor risks and ensure that risk management is fully embedded in management processes internally and externally and consistently documented.
Process Ownership

The incumbent is responsible for taking ownership, maintaining and updating documented processes or documentation related to his job function. In the event that processes or documentation are shared, the incumbent shall be responsible to inform the owner of any document about required changes or improvements.

People & Attendance

Co‑operate with the team members in a cohesive and professional manner and maintain proactive good attendance habits and reporting hierarchy in all matters. The incumbent should adhere to working hours, which might require working for extended hours depending on job nature and task assigned.
