Overview

Job Title: Instrumentation Engineer/Technician

Location: United Arab Emirates

Job Summary: Our client is seeking an experienced Instrumentation Engineer/Technician to design install maintain and troubleshoot instrumentation and control systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and debug control logic programs for instrumentation and control systems
• Install, calibrate, test and commission field instrumentation including pressure temperature level and flow transmitters
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electronic PLC DCS SCADA and pneumatic control system instruments
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electrical and instrumentation systems
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate electrical and instrumentation systems into larger designs
• Develop and maintain project documentation including as-built drawings and reports
• Ensure compliance with industry standards project specifications and safety regulations

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelors degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering or related field
• Proven technical skills in troubleshooting industrial control systems
• Strong knowledge of control systems including transmitters valves PLCs and SCADA systems
• Proficiency in using electrical design software such as AutoCAD and Revit
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the oil and gas industry or similar sector
• Knowledge of safety standards codes and regulations related to electrical and instrumentation systems
• Experience with Johnson Controls METASYS or similar products
• Valid UAE driving license
