Job summary

Workato is seeking an Instrument Technician to work in Abu-Dhabi. The role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating instruments and related equipment in an industrial setting.

The ideal candidate has a background in electrical or instrumentation engineering or equivalent experience, with at least 1 year of relevant work (candidates with no experience will be considered). Salary is 1700AED per month, and visa/work permits are required for foreign candidates.

Qualifications

• Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in maintenance/calibration; candidates with no experience considered.
• Knowledge of instrumentation systems and components such as pressure switches, transducers, etc.
• Ability to use test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair instruments and related equipment.
• Calibrate instruments (meters, gauges) using approved procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of calibration.
• Provide technical support for instrument operations.
• Monitor instruments and take corrective action as needed.
• Monitor system performance and provide feedback to management on any irregularities.
• Update maintenance documentation.
• Assist in developing safety protocols and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical or instrumentation engineering or equivalent experience. A minimum of one year of experience is required, although we are willing to consider applications from candidates with no experience.

The salary for this position is 1700AED per month. As a foreign candidate, you must have the appropriate visa and work permits.
