Job summary

JobCenter in Abu Dhabi is looking for an experienced Instrument Technician to install, maintain and troubleshoot instruments onshore and offshore. The role requires at least five years in the field and familiarity with safety regulations.

The successful candidate will work both independently and in a team, ensuring equipment reliability and clear communication with other departments and customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in instrumentation.
• Familiar with applicable safety regulations.
• Ability to read drawings, P&IDs and schematics.

Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of various instruments both onshore and offshore.
• The job requires the technician to work with a range of instrumentation such as pressure gauges, level indicators, flow meters, transmitters and other associated equipment.
• The technician will also be required to read technical drawings, understand P&IDs and schematic diagrams as well as carry out periodic maintenance inspections.
• The ideal candidate must be able to work unsupervised and have excellent problem solving skills.
• They must have a strong understanding of safety procedures and be willing to work within a team environment as well as independently when required.
• Excellent communication skills are also essential in order to liaise with other departments and customers where necessary.
