Job summary

India Abroad in Ajman, UAE, is seeking an Instrument Technician to install, calibrate and maintain instrumentation across our production lines. The role requires hands-on work with gauges, sensors and transmitters and collaboration with engineers.

You will perform diagnostics, scheduling routine maintenance, and document instrument readings. A minimum of two years in manufacturing or industrial settings is expected, along with reading drawings and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as an Instrument Technician in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, sensors, transmitters, and instrumentation devices.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Experience with troubleshooting techniques and diagnostic tools for identifying instrument failures.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Biometric passport or valid work permit for non-UAE nationals.

Responsibilities

• Install and calibrate instruments including gauges, sensors, and transmitters.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning instruments using diagnostic tools.
• Conduct routine maintenance to ensure proper instrument functioning.
• Collaborate with technicians and engineers to resolve complex issues.
• Keep records of instrument readings, repairs and maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations at all times.
