Job summary

CloudHire is seeking an Instrument Technician in Abu Dhabi to install, maintain and repair instruments used in industrial processes. You will troubleshoot and calibrate instruments, test accuracy and document maintenance activities.

The role requires a technical background, experience reading schematics, and a careful, detail-oriented approach. Contract with extension, visa support, and flexible hours are offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting and repairing instrument issues.
• Knowledge of calibration procedures and standards.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair various types of instruments including pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, level indicators etc.
• Troubleshoot issues with instruments and identify the root cause of problems.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating and adjusting instruments.
• Calibrate instruments according to specifications and standards.
• Test instruments for accuracy using specialized equipment.
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities performed on instruments.
• Assist with the installation of new instrument systems in industrial facilities.
• Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
